Most of the Airbnbs in Joshua Tree are located within miles from the main entrance to the National Park. The one that we stayed is situated among iconic granite boulders on five untouched acres, right on the border of the Park.
My favorite thing to do during the trip was to wake up during sunrise and enjoy the unobstructed view of Joshua Tree park basking in the reflected sun. Everything looked so magical and it lasted for quite a while.
In the afternoon we would wander into the park and enjoyed short hikes in some of its most popular spots but the highlight was still coming home to this rental.
We also had brunch at Norma's at Parker Hotel and I'm pretty sure half of the people who ate there were celebrities or at least they looked like it.
I don't think we got the full Palm Springs experience through our half-day trip so I'm going to make mental note to come back again soon.
